Style Notes: Kendall Jenner Talks About That Nipple Ring; Tyra Banks is the Next Mary Kay
Post-Emmys fashion news.
Stop the presses — Kendall Jenner's nipple ring has been confirmed. The 19-year-old confessed to getting the risque piercing, noting, "I was going through a period in my life, having a rough time, being a rebel and was like ‘Let’s just do it.’ ” Though the supermodel did admit that it hurt, the good news is that it "wasn't as bad as everyone made it seem." Good news for anyone who's ever wanted to work for Tyra Banks: the Fab Life host has just opened enrollment for her direct-sell program for the line of beauty products she launched in 2014. Sellers, or "Beautytainers," as Banks calls them, pay $59 to get started and receive an online training session called TYRA-U. Banks' full line (which includes such products as Smack My Fat Lash and Menage a Brow) is priced between $18 and $64, and she hopes the experience can help build some "bad ass entrepreneurs." [WWD]
Disney star Zendaya has just given everyone a new reason to be talking about her hair. The 19-year-old actress/producer/shoe designer is the first-ever spokesperson for hair-care line CHI. Given that the red-carpet style star is constantly changing up her tresses — from dreadlocks to pixies to voluminous curls — the partnership makes perfect sense. [People Style Watch]
Emma Hill — former Mulberry designer behind some of the brand's most popular handbags — debuted her new accessories line, Hill & Friends, at London Fashion Week with a much-talked-about show. Rather than create a display, Hill had male models dressed as Wes Anderson-esque bellhops carry the line of bright bags and clutches down a runway, but that's not all. Also at the show were miniature ponies, hor d'oeuvres with googly eyes and one Anna Wintour sitting front row. [Who What Wear]
