Style Notes: London Fashion Week Has a New Home; John Galliano to Speak at Synagogue
It's just another manic Monday — so let these four fashion stories make it better.
Remember when John Galliano was fired from both Dior and his own label for an anti-Semitic rant in 2011? Well, it appears he's trying to repair that damage. The designer, who is at the helm of Maison Margiela, will be the keynote speaker at a London-based speaker series called Connect hosted at the Central Synagogue. Better late than never? [Fashionista]
It was announced last month that Louis Vuitton would be showing its resort collection in Palm Springs, and today a venue was announced: the Bob and Dolores Hope Estate. The show will take place May 6 at the futuristic-looking home. [WWD]
Like New York, London Fashion Week also is getting a new home come September. The British Fashion Council announced that the show will be moving from Somerset House to Brewer Street car park in Soho which was chosen because of its "vibrant, diverse and creative" energy. [Vogue UK]
Penelope Cruz is the next really, really ridiculously good- looking person to join the cast of Zoolander 2. The actress was spotted on set in a skintight red leather jumpsuit that gives "Oops I Did it Again"-era Britney Spears a run for her money. [AOL]
