Gigi Hadid's Makeup Artist Signs With Maybelline [Instagram]

Erin Parsons, the longtime makeup artist to Gigi Hadid, has landed a deal with Maybelline — the same cosmetics company that counts Hadid as a brand ambassador. "I am so excited to officially announce I am the new Global Makeup Artist for @maybelline," Parsons captioned on Instagram, adding that it was a dream come true. "I grew up using Maybelline and even hung the ads I saw in magazines on my wall for makeup inspiration. Now to be leading the vision and artistry of this iconic brand is truly an honor for me." Her role will include overseeing makeup looks in campaigns and marketing materials, as well as New York Fashion Week, according to WWD.

New York Fashion Week to Change Venue Locations [WWD]

Skylight Clarkson Square (550 Washington St.) will no longer be home to New York Fashion Week. The space became a main venue (along with Skylight at Moynihan Station at 360 W. 33rd St.) after NYFW dropped Lincoln Center in 2015. (Bryant Park served as a venue until 2010.) "The official venue of New York Fashion Week is New York City," said Steven Kolb, CEO of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, which handles the NYFW calendar. Mark Beckham, vp marketing, added that the CFDA is in the process of assessing a variety of locations, from hotels to screening rooms.
