Miley Cyrus' new collaboration with Converse is just as sparkly as you would imagine. The singer-actress gave fans a sneak peek of the sneaks on Twitter on Friday, sharing images of four takes on the classic low-top and high-top styles. Cyrus' designs, which she noted are unisex, come in black, white and bubble gum pink and feature plenty of glitter and paisley print. The 24-year-old, who previously hosted the shoe brand's Public Access web show, has not yet revealed a price point or release date for the collab.
Kith Launches Kids' Collection, Store [Pret-a-Reporter Inbox]
Kith is coming for the kids. The cult streetwear brand has launched a children's wear range in sizes 2T-12, priced from $35 for a knit beanie to $120 for a hooded bomber. The collection is now available online, as well as at a New York boutique in SoHo. In addition to the apparel, which is exclusive to Kith, the store will house multibranded sneakers to top off your tot's look.
Burlington Coat Factory Goes Fur-Free [Pret-a-Reporter Inbox]
Burlington Coat Factory is the latest company to go fur-free. Following in the footsteps of luxury brands like Gucci, Stella McCartney and Armani, as well as luxury retailers Net-a-Porter and Yoox, the company has committed to no longer selling fur products at any of its stores or online. "Burlington's action adds a mainstream, middle-class brand to the roster of successes," said Wayne Pacelle, president and CEO of The Humane Society of the United States.
Tom Ford Beauty Is Opening a London Store [WWD]
Tom Ford Beauty is touching down in London Town. The designer's beauty line will open its first store on Nov. 20 in London's Covent Garden. According to WWD, customers will be greeted by LED images of bustier-clad models photographed from the waist down with bottles of Ford's newest fragrance, "Fucking Fabulous," strategically placed between their legs. The two-level, 1,400-square-foot store will offer services that Ford calls "impeccable and high-tech." The designer adds that his goal is to make Tom Ford Beauty a $2 billion brand.
Kim Kardashian's Fragrance Reportedly Raked in $10 Million on First Day [TMZ]
Surprise, surprise. Kim Kardashian's new fragrance collection from her KKW Beauty line is a hit, reportedly raking in $10 million in sales on the day it launched (Wednesday) — all without the help of traditional advertising. Of the 300,000 bottles that were produced, only the 35-milliliter Gardenia Citrus and 60-milliliter Gardenia are still available for purchase, however, Kardashian wrote on Instagram that she was working with her factory to stock more before the holidays. The three gardenia-themed scents are packaged in crystal-shaped bottles that Kardashian notes were inspired by the healing crystals she surrounded herself with following her traumatic robbery in Paris in 2016.
