Rihanna pays homage to Queen Nefertiti on the November covers of Vogue Arabia, which were photographed by Greg Kadel. The singer is featured on both the English and Arabic covers wearing Gucci looks (a snakeskin coat and ruffled blouse), as well as a headpiece by Faeth Millinery, which was inspired by the Egyptian queen. “We are dedicating the issue to strong and dynamic women who are changing the world,” said editor-in-chief Manuel Arnaut in the editor’s letter. “Rihanna, our cover star, is one of them. Not only is she one of the most successful pop icons ever, shaping the entertainment industry with her powerful tunes and unique sense of style, she is also an advocate for diversity.”

Conde Nast International Finally Issues Statement Over Terry Richardson Ban [Vogue U.K.]
Four days after The Telegraph published an excerpt from a leaked internal email that stated Conde Nast International would no longer work with infamous fashion photographer Terry Richardson, the company finally issued a statement. However, the note does not address Richardson by name. "Conde is deeply concerned by the recently surfaced allegations of sexual harassment in our industry. There are no excuses for this type of behaviour; it is completely unacceptable," reads a portion of the statement. On Friday, Hearst and WSJ. Magazine, The Wall Street Journal's lifestyle supplement, told WWD that they have no plans to work with Richardson going forward.
Rachel Zoe and Vestiaire Collective Team Up to Support Breast-Cancer Research [Pret-a-Reporter Inbox]
Rachel Zoe and Vestiaire Collective have teamed up to raise money for breast-cancer research in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The fashion designer and former TV personality has curated a selection of items, including a gold Balenciaga bracelet and a Gucci jumpsuit; a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the cause. "Breast cancer awareness is a cause that is very close to my heart," said Zoe in a release. "My grandmother, my mother, and my sister Pamela are all breast cancer survivors. We first became involved with the organization supporting their Paddle for Pink event and we will continue to make BCRF a priority, as the amount of women affected is unfathomable."
