Style Notes: Rihanna's Success Keeps Puma Afloat; Kylie Jenner Sells Twitter Tee
A little fashion news to fuel your Friday fun.
Thanks to Rihanna's magic touch as Puma's women's creative director, sales of women's apparel and, most notably, of women's shoes, have increased steadily. The brand hopes that Rihanna's new line, slated for release in 2016, will continue to help Puma climb out of its slump. [WWD]
Almost a year ago, Kylie Jenner infamously tweeted that she was "bored" by speculation about whether or not her lips were real. Like most things Jenner posts, the tweet went viral. Now, taking a cue from Marc Jacobs, the 18-year-old has decided to capitalize on the memorable moment by selling tees reading, "Talk about something new, I'm bored," accompanied by a lipstick print because, as they say, if you can't beat 'em, sell 'em things.
