Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild Rescinds Nominations for Awards [Gold Derby]
The Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild issued a revised list of nominations for its annual awards on Monday, in which the Lifetime film The 10th Date was removed from the best movie/mini contemporary makeup category, as it did not air within the eligibility period. Stranger Things and The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let's Do the Time Warp Again also were removed from the list of nominees for the best series period/character makeup and best movie/mini period/character hairstyling, respectively, for failing to "conform" to the guild's rules. (Stranger Things' nomination in the best series period/character hairstyling category remains, as does Rocky Horror's nomination for best movie/mini period/character makeup.) Winners will be revealed during a ceremony on Feb. 19.

Katie Holmes Is Jackie O, Says the Internet [Racked]
Just so we're clear, Katie Holmes, actress who once starred as Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis on the Reelz miniseries The Kennedys: After Camelot, is not actually Jackie O. Someone might want to inform the Twitter users who mistakenly identified her as the former first lady in tweets pointing out the similarities between Melania Trump's sky blue Ralph Lauren ensemble and Jackie O's iconic pastel style. Take a history class, folks.
Ivanka's Children Wear Petit Peony on Inauguration Weekend [WWD]
Ivanka Trump chose Kate Bowen, designer behind American kidswear brand Petit Peony, to create looks for her three tots this inauguration weekend. The designer, who hails from Vermont and now is based in Massachusetts, first landed on Trump's radar after she posted a photo of herself with her three children and an Ivanka Trump handbag. Bowen designed two navy-and-white wool coats with velvet collars for Trump's daughter, Arabella, as well as charcoal-colored coats for her sons, Theodore and Joseph. "This is not a political play for me," Bowen told WWD. "I really believe in her and what she stands for. ... She gave someone from a very small company a chance to design for her children for two of the three events. I think that really says something about her."
Kellyanne Conway Tweets About Her Gucci Ensemble [Twitter]
Kellyanne Conway's red, white and blue Gucci ensemble — complete with a hat and red leather gloves — was not well-received by the social media fashion critics, who compared her to a court jester, Paddington Bear and a New England Patriot. But the hate didn't perturb the senior Trump adviser. She tweeted that she "received many compliments on the outfit, including from @BillClinton."
Bernie Sanders Wore His Trusty Green Parka to the Inauguration [The Cut]
We know what Melania wore. We know what Ivanka wore. We even know what Hillary Clinton and Kellyanne Conway wore to President Donald Trump's inauguration. But the real question burning in everyone's mind? What did Bernie Sanders wear? No, not Balenciaga, whose designer, Demna Gvasalia, paid homage to the populist icon in his menswear presentation earlier this week. The Vermont senator and former presidential candidate donned a burly green Burton parka over his sweater vest — perhaps the most Vermont outfit ever.
