Is it Friday yet?

Not long after announcing its second redesign, Maxim magazine will undergo another major change: Kate Lanphear is leaving the glossy's editor-in-chief after a little over a year. During Lanphear's short tenure at Maxim, she revamped the Hot 100 List, ranking Taylor Swift as number one, and enlisted Idris Elba as the first dude to cover the glossy. Her last day is Nov. 13. Brendan Hoffman, who was previously at Lord & Taylor, has been named the new ceo of Vince. Hoffman will start his new role immediately and become a member of the board. Despite the company's number of problems lately, including product issues and stock price declines, Hoffman is up for the challenge. Said Hoffman: "As you do with any organization, you continue to see what you need to grow the brand." [WWD]
