Sue Fleishman to Head Communications for Amblin Partners
The former Warner Bros. exec will handle Amblin's three labels — Amblin, DreamWorks and Participant.
Sue Fleishman is joining Amblin Partners as head of communications.
Fleishman, who has been working for Amblin for several months, will report to CEO Michael Wright and co-CEO Jeff Small and work with Marvin Levy, Steven Spielberg’s longtime press rep, the Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. She will oversee communications for all of the newly formed Amblin Partners' three labels — Amblin, DreamWorks and Participant.
In the newly created post, Fleishman will pick up the reins from Jasmine Madatian, who is moving to San Francisco for family reasons, having handled communications for DreamWorks for the past two years.
Fleishman, who has served stints at Sony, Universal and Warner Bros. during the course of her career, stepped down as executive vp worldwide corporate communications and public affairs for Warners in 2014 after nine years with that studio, and has since been working through her own company, September Media.
