Focus Features has released the trailer for Suffragette, the award season hopeful that stars Meryl Streep, Carey Mulligan and Helena Bonham Carter as women fighting for equality in early-20th-century Britain. 

Directed by Sarah Gavron and written by Abi Morgan, the star-studded drama opens in limited theaters Oct. 23 and will expand through Thanksgiving.
