Sumner Redstone settles with CBS exec

Report estimates harassment settlement at $1 million

CBS Corp. and its chairman and controlling shareholder Sumner Redstone have settled harassment allegations brought by a long-time deputy of his.

The Daily Beast reported Wednesday that CBS has agreed to pay a settlement sum to Karen O'Rourke Zatorski in exchange for her not bringing formal harassment charges to court and resigning from her post.

Based on her length of tenure and position, a source estimated the payment to be in the $1 million range.

The harassment complaint focused on Redstone's temper as Zatorksi had mentioned verbal abuse and temper tantrums.
