'Indignation,' 'Weiner,' 'Tallulah' Among Sundance London Lineup

The fourth edition of the British offshoot of Robert Redford's Utah shindig is set to take place in June.

The Sundance Institute on Wednesday announced the selection of films from its flagship January festival that will descend upon the British capital later this year.

The fourth edition of the Sundance Film Festival: London will present 11 features that bowed in Utah, alongside a program of 15 shorts.

Among the lineup is Tallulah, reuniting Juno co-stars Ellen Page and Allison Janney, plus Josh Kriegman and Elyse Steinberg's award-winning doc Weiner, following Anthony Weiner's New York City mayoral campaign amid an unfolding scandal.

Horror-comedy The Greasy Strangler, which was well received in the Midnight section of the Park City event, also is heading to London, as is James Schamus' directorial debut Indignation. Schamus also is set to attend and take part in a special discussion. Other titles include Author: The JT LeRoy Story, Goat, The Intervention, Morris From America, Other People, Weiner-Dog and Life, Animated.

As part of its "Road to Stardom" section, which will show films and filmmakers that rose to prominence from Sundance, the Coen brothers' Blood Simple, plus The Usual Suspects and Winter's Bone, also will screen.

"I have long believed that the quality and originality of the independent films we show would be of interest to global audiences," Robert Redford said in a release. "Our Sundance Film Festival: London allows us to further help these new independent films get out into the world, starting with engaged audiences in the U.K."

Having postponed its 2015 edition, Sundance Film Festival: London has moved its main location to the new Picturehouse Central theater in the heart of the British capital's West End.

“Since the opening of Picturehouse Central last summer, we've been changing the landscape of London's cinema scene and we're delighted to be rounding off our first year with Sundance Film Festival: London," said Picturehouse director of programming and acquisition Clare Binns. 

Sundance Film Festival: London is set to run June 2-5.
