Patti Cake$ newcomer Siddharth Dhananjay has signed with Colin Stark for management.

The India-born, Indonesia-raised and Iowa-educated Dhananjay was first discovered by Patti Cake$ director Geremy Jasper on WorldstarHipHop, where his parody rap videos were posted under the pseudonym Dhananjay the First.

The Sundance comedy, which sold to Fox Searchlight for $9.5 million, is the first feature-film role for Dhananjay, who plays the best friend and biggest fan of aspiring rapper Patti (Danielle Macdonald). He was signed in a competitive situation, out of the festival.

Stark's client list also includes Atlanta's Lakeith Stanfield, whose breakout role also came in a festival indie, Destin Cretton's Short Term 12. Stark also represents Soldado actor David Castaneda.
