Super Bowl: Field Crew Accidentally Paints Broncos Logo in Both End Zones
The Denver Broncos briefly took over the entire field due to a painting mistake at Levi’s Stadium.
The Denver Broncos might already have a leg up in Super Bowl 50.
KPIX 5, CBS' local station in San Francisco, reported that the field crew at Santa Clara's Levi’s Stadium mistakenly painted both sides of the football field with the Broncos team logo.
Just one week away from the big game, field preparations were well underway when fans started to notice the gaffe and the stadium had to quickly erase the second Broncos end zone.
The Carolina Panthers logo was added by Thursday afternoon.
Super Bowl 50 will air live on CBS on Feb. 7 with Coldplay and Beyonce, who headlined the 2013 game in New Orleans, performing the halftime show. The pair recently collaborated on Coldplay's new album, A Head Full of Dreams.
