Super Bowl: Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden Praise Lady Gaga's Halftime Performance

The former presidential candidate and vice president praised the songstress for her message of unity and inclusivity during the Pepsi Halftime Show in Houston.

Lady Gaga took the stage at Super Bowl 51 to perform during the Pepsi Halftime Show. And among the 2.73 million, and growing, Twitter mentions were tweets from Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden praising the singer on her message of inclusivity and unity during her performance of her medley of songs that included "Born This Way."

The former vice president posted a picture of Gaga and himself during their time working together to end sexual violence on college campuses with a caption saying, "Incredible performance from my friend @LadyGaga. You amaze me — and not just onstage. Proud to work with you to end sexual assault. #ItsOnUs."

And while Biden lauded Gaga's work both on and off the stage, former Democratic presidential nominee Clinton took to her social media and effectively declared herself a Little Monster, saying, "I'm one of 100 million #SuperBowl fans that just went #Gaga for the Lady, & her message to all of us."

Gaga began her halftime performance on top of the NRG Stadium in Houston, with hundreds of drones lining the words to "God Bless America" and This Land Is Your Land," before she dived into the stadium where the Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots are facing off for the big game.
