Chase Ogden's film, which follows a big mountain stunt skier and base jumper Matthias Giraud, is set for a March 26 release.

Greenwich Entertainment has picked up the North American rights to Chase Ogden's big mountain skiing and base jumping documentary Super Frenchie.

Ogden's directorial debut follows stunt skier Matthias "Super Frenchie" Giraud hurtling down mountains in his native France and North America or jumping off cliffs in search of adventure.

Super Frenchie also captures Giraud as he combines dangerous stunts with falling in love and starting a family. The film takes a terrifying turn when Giraud endures a catastrophic crash days before the birth of his first child.

"It's been an honor documenting Matthias' career and personal journey and I can't wait to share his exceptional story with audiences across the country," Ogden said in a statement.

Greenwich plans a March 26 release in theaters, virtual cinema and on digital platforms. Super Frenchie is produced by Ogden, Jason Reid, Kiah S. Jones, and Andy McDonough. The film had its world premiere at the Santa Barbara Film Festival.

The film's producers negotiated the distribution deal with Greenwich’s Ed Arentz and Andy Bohn.
