The Warner Bros. Television vet was part of the PR team who oversaw 'The Big Bang Theory,' among other shows.

Nearly two months after promoting Dominic Pagone to senior vp communications, FX has tapped Warner Bros. Television veteran Susan Kesser to replace him.

Kesser has joined the FX publicity team as vp media relations at FX. She'll report to John Solberg, exec vp communications at FX Networks and FX Productions.

Kesser most recently was executive director of publicity at Warner Bros. Television, where she oversaw consumer-facing PR campaigns for comedy series including The Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men and 2 Broke Girls.

“Susan Kesser is one of the best publicity executives in the business, and we are honored to have her join FX Networks,” said Solberg. “Susan, Roslyn Bibby and Lana Kim will lead and elevate our exceptional program-publicity team to even greater excellence in support of our outstanding shows and talent.”

Kesser was named to The Hollywood Reporter's Next Gen class in 2012 and earned the Maxwell Weinberg Publicists Showmanship Award for Television in 2011 for her handling of The Big Bang Theory.

Kesser joined Warners TV in 2002 as a global trainee and became a manager in 2008, adding director to her résumé in 2009. She has worked on series including Mom, Mike & Molly, Smallville, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, V and One Tree Hill.
