Take Me to the Greek: Theater Offering Shuttle Service for New Season

Energy efficient bus will cost $7 for round trip from parking lot before and after show.

Tired of the stacked parking at the Greek Theater in L.A.'s Griffith Park, having to wait until everybody gets out before you can drive your car home?

Nederlander Concerts is responding by offering a new off-site parking/shuttle service for the upcoming season, which opens May 2 with Under the Streetlamp, followed by Los Lobos’ third annual Cinco de Mayo Festival on May 3 featuring Ozomatli and Mariachi El Bronx.

The remote location will be available for every show, located on Crystal Springs Drive, north of Los Feliz Boulevard near the 5 freeway.  The 24-passenger shuttles are energy efficient with clean burning compressed natural gas and are also air conditioned. The Greek off-site parking lots will open 90 minutes prior to each event and remain open for one hour after the conclusion of the event. The lots will be well lit with new signage and staffed by Greek Theatre personnel in conjunction with SP Plus Corporation, the venue’s official parking management partner. This service is available for advance purchase only, online at GreekTheatreLA.com, beginning today.

“We are thrilled to offer this new service and provide more parking and transportation options for our patrons,” said Greek gm Rena Wasserman. “This will help reduce traffic in the neighborhood and allow for additional non-stacked parking at the venue.”
