Target Taps Adam Lippes for Plaid Collab
"It's a plaid, plaid world."
After announcing its jewelry collaboration with Eddie Borgo only a few short weeks ago, Target is hitting customers with yet another collab to drool over. The retailer announced today that designer Adam Lippes has made a collection — "inspired by buffalo plaid" — to coincide with the company's "plaid takeover" fall event.
As part of the retailer's 360-piece plaid extravaganza, for which the company has slapped the tartan pattern on pretty much every product imaginable (plaid ChapStick tubes, anyone?), Target has tapped the luxury designer for a checked collection of clothing, accessories and homegoods. The 50-piece line, priced between $19.99 and $129.99, will be available in stores and online beginning Sept. 27.
