Taylor Lautner Talks TV Guilty Pleasures 'The X Factor,' 'The Voice'

In a new interview, the “Abduction” actor says he's a big fan of singing competitions shows and judge Simon Cowell.

Taylor Lautner covers the October issue of Seventeen magazine, making a few surprising revelations.

Among them, the Abduction star admits to his favorite must-see-reality-TV and shares affections for one British entrepreneur and television personality.
“I’m a big fan of all those singing competition shows. Most recently, I’ve been into The Voice. It’s one of my secrets!” he admits to the mag. “And I’m definitely looking forward to The X Factor, especially because I’m a huge Simon Cowell fan.”

“Personally, I sing for fun, but mainly in the shower, when I’m alone,” Lautner added. “Other people definitely do not want to hear me sing.”
The actor, who has been busy filming Abduction and the final installments of The Twilight Saga, also expressed an interest in someday furthering his education.

“I finished high school while filming movies. And then as soon as I was done, I enrolled in my local community college and got 12-15 credits out of the way really quickly,” he said. “After that, it just got too busy, but if I get a break again, going back definitely interests me – I might be interested in studying psychology.”
Lautner will make his action hero debut when the John Singleton directed Abduction hits theaters on Sept. 23. Shortly thereafter, Lautner will begin promoting The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part I in preparation for its Nov. 18 release.
