The effort, dubbed Just Vote, will offer young people exclusive experiences, performances and memorabilia that can only be unlocked by checking their voter registration status.

Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Julianne Hough, Billy Porter and Usher are among the stars participating in Global Citizen and voter registration organization HeadCount's newly launched Just Vote campaign to increase turnout among young people.

The campaign to get young people to check their registration status, register and vote in November and elections beyond this year seeks to engage one million young voters and register 50,000 young people ahead of the 2020 elections.

Just Vote will offer young people exclusive experiences, performances and memorabilia that can only be unlocked by checking their voter registration status. Other stars supporting the effort include DJ Khaled, Finneas, Loren Gray, Nicky Jam and Quavo.

A week later, the campaign has added Bob Weir, Dave Matthews, Donna Karan, Dove Cameron, Gavin Rossdale, Kaia Gerber, Andrew "King Bach" Bachelor, Lenny Kravitz, Madison Beer, Meghan Trainor, Prince Royce and Shawn Mendes as supporters.

“We are proud to launch the Just Vote campaign with HeadCount to encourage more young people to check their voter registration status and register to vote,” Global Citizen co-founder and CEO Hugh Evans said in a statement. “For years, we have activated Global Citizens to be part of the solution to critical issues, and voting is a vital way to make a difference. We are excited about Just Vote’s potential to activate young voter turnout in November and beyond.”

HeadCount executive director Andy Bernstein added, “With only a few months until the election, this is a pivotal moment to be launching Just Vote. The challenges of COVID-19 demand that we innovate the ways in which we engage potential voters. That’s why we are thrilled to partner with Global Citizen, these brilliant artists and companies to excite voters, and encourage participation in our democracy.”
