Brit Awards 2015: Taylor Swift Performs "Blank Space" (Video)
The pop singer performed her '1989' single on the O2 Arena stage.
Taylor Swift performed her latest single "Blank Space" during the Brit Awards on Wednesday night.
The pop singer hit the stage of London's O2 Arena to open the show, donning all-black attire with her classic red-lip look.
In front of seven silhouettes dancing behind wide, white screens, Swift paced the stage belting the first single off of her chart-topping 1989 album. Towards the middle of the set, the singer, backed by male dancers sporting black caps and white vests, made her way down the stage's walkway.
As confetti began falling at the close of her performance, Swift made her way back to the front of the stage, now with just one male accompanying her. She closed her set with a playful shove towards her "male lead," as she sang, "I'll write your name."
The Brit Awards — which was streamed live on YouTube before its telecast on Fuse — also featured performances by Madonna, Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, Paloma Faith, George Ezra, Royal Blood and Take That, plus a surprise performance by Kanye West.
