Telepictures taps Waymire for vp

Telepictures Productions has named Tishan Waymire to the newly-created position of vp, branded entertainment and new business.

Waymire was most recently director of branded entertainment and strategy at TiVo, focusing on creating a distribution channel for advertiser-sponsored branded content. Prior to that she worked at Mark Burnett Productions as a task producer for "The Apprentice," collaborating with major advertisers on the integration of their products, and as a casting producer/writer on "The Casino."

In her new position, Waymire will spearhead and manage new business development initiatives and oversee product integration and sponsorship opportunities within Telepictures' current slate of syndicated shows, as well as develop new advertiser-sponsored content partnerships across multiple platforms.

She will also focus on expanding Telepictures' syndicated programming across new platforms to create new areas of business for these brands, the company said.

Waymire will report to Hilary Estey McLoughlin, president of Telepictures Productions.

"Tishan's diverse background – encompassing branded entertainment, strategic planning and business development – coupled with her producing skills, production knowledge, advertiser relationships and deal-making abilities, makes her the perfect fit for this position," Estey McLoughlin said.
