Terrence Malick's 'Knight of Cups' and Sarah Silverman's 'I Smile Back' Nab Release Dates

Broad Green Pictures also dates 'The Dark Horse.'

Sarah Silverman's first big-screen drama, I Smile Back, will hit theaters Oct. 23.

The film, making its premiere earlier this year at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival, was among several titles dated by Broad Green Pictures, an ambitious new player. The company announced it will open The Dark Horse on Dec. 11, 2015, followed by Terrence Malick's Knight of Cups on March 4.

Directed by Adam Salky, I Smile Back stars Silverman opposite Josh Charles and tells the story of a seemingly happy suburban wife and mother whose life spirals out of control because of a reckless compulsion.

The Dark Horse, from filmmaker James Napier Robertson, is based on the life of charismatic and brilliant chess champion Genesis PotiniCliff Curtis and James Rolleston star.

Knight of Cups stars Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett, Natalie Portman, Frieda Pinto, Imogen Poots and Wes Bentley. Bale stars as an uninspired screenwriter who is a slave to the Hollywood lifestyle.
