Paramount will distribute TF1 Blu-ray and DVD products in France in a deal that will take effect on Sept 1

Paramount Home Media Distribution has inked a deal with TF1 Video to distribute TF1 Blu-Ray and DVD releases in France, both companies confirmed on Friday. Paramount will distribute the titles to mass merchants, specialty stores and online retailers in Gaul as of Sept 1.

TF1 has a vast library of films including upcoming new releases like local hits Florent-Emilio Siri’s Cloco, Romain Levy’s Radiostars, Cannes Competition titles Jacques Audiard’s Rust and Bone and Walter Salles’ On the Road, plus Woody Allen’s To Rome With Love. Paramount will distribute those titles alongside its own new releases including Madagascar 3: Continental Drift, The Dictator, and never before released debuts of classics like To Catch a Thief in Blu-ray and Indiana Jones Blu-ray: The Complete Adventures.

"We are delighted to be working with TF1 Vidéo and believe that this agreement will open new horizons and synergies for both companies, which share a common goal in the home entertainment market," Paramount Home Media Distribution France’s Luigi-Théo Calabrese said.

CEO of TF1 Video Régis Ravanas added: "Our focus moving forward will be on sourcing the most promising contents and adding value for both our physical and digital products through MYTF1VOD for the latter.” MYTF1VOD is now the most widely distributed VOD service in France.
