Thandie Newton stepped out for Sunday's SAG Awards in a shimmery Schiaparelli Couture gown featuring embroideries of birds and horses. Stylist Erin Walsh took to her Instagram to post a close-up of her client's dress.
The classic couture house once run by Elsa Schiaparelli has been quietly making a comeback in Hollywood in recent months, under the design direction of Bertrand Guyon.
The actress is nominated for outstanding performance by a female actor in a drama series for Westworld. Newton is up against Winona Ryder (Stranger Things), Claire Foy (The Crown), Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things), and Robin Wright (House of Cards).
The SAG Awards will be simulcast live on TNT and TBS on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
