Kelsey Grammer and Paul Bettany are confirmed as guests for the Middle East event, which is set to close with 'Into the Woods'

James Marsh’s Stephen Hawking biopic The Theory of Everything, which has drawn significant Oscar buzz, will kick off the Dubai International Film Festival on Dec. 10.

Festival organizers on Wednesday unveiled the full lineup for the 11th edition of the eight-day event, which they confirmed would close on Dec. 17 with the star-studded Into the Woods.

As previously announced, Lee Daniels will be heading up the jury for the main feature competition, while Into the Woods star Emily Blunt will lead the jury for the IWC Filmmaker Award.

Other guests confirmed on Wednesday include Kelsey Grammer, Paul Bettany, Olga Kurylenko, Bollywood stars Anil Kapoor and John Abraham and Turkish actor-director Yilmaz Erdogan.

Earlier this week, the festival expanded its cinema of the world section with films including Birdman, The Water Diviner, A Most Violent Year, A Few Cubic Meters of Love, I’m Steve Lopez, Girlhood, What We Do in the Shadows and X+Y.

At total of 118 features, shorts and docs will be screened at this year’s festival, down from the 174 screened in 2013.
