Thomas Moody promoted at A&E and Bio

Named senior vp programming planning and acquisitions

Thomas Moody has been promoted to senior vp programming planning and acquisitions for A&E and Bio Channel.

Moody has been vp program planning at A&E since 2003 and is credited with co-creating and producing original series "Find & Design," "Private Sessions" "Watching the Detectives" and "The Chris Isaak Hour."

"Tom brings a track record of significant accomplishment to the table, from both the business and programming sides of our industry," said Bob DeBitetto, president and GM, A&E Network and Bio Channel. "He is a talented strategist and has been a key driver of our success over the past several years."

Moody will be responsible for programming, scheduling and acquisition of A&E, Bio and new company initiatives such as the Crime & Investigation Network.
