'Three Billboards' Tops London Critics' Circle Film Award Nominations

Martin McDonagh's drama has seven nominations going into January's ceremony.

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri leads the pack of films going into the London Critics' Circle Film Awards. 

Martin McDonagh's drama earned seven nominations in the announcement made Tuesday, including best film, director, screenwriter, actress for Frances McDormand and supporting actors for both Sam Rockwell and Woody Harrelson. William Oldroyd's Lady Macbeth and Paul Thomas Anderson's Phantom Thread follow closely behind with six nominations apiece, while Call Me by Your Name, Dunkirk, Paddington 2 and God's Own Country emerged with five noms each. 

The winners will be announced Jan. 28, 2018, at London's May Fair Hotel, where Kate Winslet will also receive the critics' highest honor, the Dilys Powell award for excellence in film.
