THR's Elizabeth Guider nabs ICG Press nom

Publicists' awards will be handed out Feb. 18

Elizabeth Guider, editor of The Hollywood Reporter, is among five journalists nominated for the ICG Publicists' annual Press Award.

Others nominated Wednesday are USA Today's Anthony Breznican and Claudia Puig, Mary Hart of "Entertainment Tonight" and Scott Mantz of "Access Hollywood." Winners will be feted during a Feb. 18 luncheon at the Beverly Hilton.

The publicists group also announced noms in the following categories:

-- International media: Claude Budin-Juteau, France; Margaret Gardiner, South Africa; Anke Hofmann, Germany; Elaine Lipworth, U.K.; and Lynn Tso, Taiwan.

-- Unit still photography: Andrew Cooper, Melinda Sue Gordon, Steve Vaughn, Barry Wetcher and Michael Yarish.

-- Les Mason Award for career achievement in entertainment publicity: Tony Angellotti, the Angellotti Co.; Andre Caraco, Sony Pictures Entertainment; Jan Craft, Warner Bros.; Rosalind Jarrett, SAG Awards; and Pat Kingsley, PMK/HBH.

-- Maxwell Weinberg Award for film publicity campaigns: "Beverly Hills Chihuahua," Disney; "The Dark Knight," Warner Bros.; "Hancock," Sony; "Iron Man," Paramount; "Mama Mia!" Universal; and "Marley & Me," Fox.

-- Weinberg Award for TV campaigns -- "90210," CBS Paramount; "Gossip Girl," Warner Bros. TV; and "The Mentalist," Warner Bros. TV/CBS.
