THR's Littleton to receive caucus honor
Cynthia Littleton, editor of The Hollywood Reporter, will receive the 2006 Journalism Award from Caucus of Television Producers, Writers and Directors as part of the group's 24th annual awards dinner Dec. 8 at the Beverly Hills Hotel. The award is designed to honor journalists who "consistently excel in coverage of the television industry." Littleton, who joined The Reporter in 1999, was promoted to editor in March. Previous recipients include The Reporter's former editor-in-chief and publisher, Robert J. Dowling, CNN's Larry King and Daily Variety chief TV critic Brian Lowry.
