Marc Forster's 'All I See Is You' Nabbed by Open Road (Exclusive)

Blake Lively and Jason Clarke star in the drama that will be released on 2,500 screens.

Mark Forster's All I See Is You has been acquired by Open Road Films and will receive a wide release on 2,500 screens. The deal for the film, which will bow Aug. 4, covers all U.S. rights.

Last month, the film screened in the Special Presentations section of the Toronto International Film Festival, where it made its world premiere.

Blake Lively stars as Gina, a blind woman dependent on her husband, James (Jason Clarke), to navigate through her life and the streets of Bangkok, where they live. When Gina completes a surgery that restores her sight, the couple's life and relationship change in a million little ways.

Yvonne Strahowski, Danny Huston, Ahna O’Reilly and Wes Chatham co-star.

The World War Z director co-wrote the screenplay with Sean Conway.

Craig Baumgarten, Michael Selby, Forster and Jillian Kugler produced the film. Ron Perlman, Brian Wilkins and Renee Wolfe served as executive producers. Production companies are SC International Pictures, 2Dux2, Wing and A Prayer Pictures, LINK Entertainment.

“Since we worked together on the groundbreaking Monster’s Ball, I have been hoping to work with Marc Forster again,” Open Road CEO Tom Ortenberg said Tuesday in a statement. “All I See Is You is a provocative thriller with a great cast, and Marc has made yet another terrific film.”

Added Forster: "I have always admired Tom Ortenberg and his seemingly effortless ability to bring interesting and provocative films to the marketplace, I am confident this is the right home."

All I See Is You joins an upcoming slate of Open Road films that also includes the Miles Teller starrer Bleed for This (Nov. 18), the Jamie Foxx-Michelle Monaghan pairing Sleepless (Feb. 24) and Awesomeness Films' Before I Fall (April 7). The distributor behind best picture Oscar winner Spotlight also has The Nut Job 2 and Blazing Samurai on the horizon.

The All I See Is You deal was negotiated by Ortenberg, Open Road COO and general counsel Elliott Kleinberg and senior vp, acquisitions Lejo Pet. WME, along with producers Baumgarten and Selby, negotiated on behalf of the filmmakers.
