Raising funds for the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, the musical live stream featured Nell Campbell and Barry Bostwick, along with special guests Colleen Ballinger, Wilmer Valderrama, Seth Green and Jason Alexander.

Original castmembers from 1975 cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show appeared Saturday in a Halloween event to raise funds for the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, just days before the presidential election.

The musical live stream featured Tim Curry, who is particularly choosy about his public appearances since suffering a stroke in 2012. In top form and with dialogue help from castmembers if he needed it, the actor appeared alongside Nell Campbell, Barry Bostwick and special guests Colleen Ballinger, Wilmer Valderrama, Rosario Dawson, Lance Bass, Seth Green and Jason Alexander.

Punk cabaret group The Dresden Dolls opened the show with a musical number, which was followed by a recounting of the original story of Janet and Brad finding themselves in the unlucky situation of a broken down car on a wet night.

Before meeting Dr. Frank-N-Furter, played by Curry reprising his iconic role, Janet and Brad are warned, "You’re very lucky to be invited into Frank’s laboratory, some people would give their right arm for the privilege." Alexander played the criminologist narrating the events. "It was a night they were to remember for a very long time," he declared. Among the musical numbers was "Let's Do the Time Warp Again," which featured participants wearing face masks.

"Rocky Horror has been changing lives for decades, and now, with this reunion on Halloween Night to supercharge Wisconsin Democrats in the final stretch, it’s going to change the world again," said Democratic Party of Wisconsin chair Ben Wikler in a statement prior to the event. "In the final sprint of this election, we don’t need a time warp. The joy, laughter and hilarious, outrageous energy of this iconic musical will mobilize new volunteers and raise funds to send Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to the White House."
