Rory Kinnear, Robert Emms and newcomer Eloise Laurence are also joining the adaptation of Daniel Clay's novel.

LONDON – Tim Roth, Cillian Murphy, Rory Kinnear, Robert Emms, Zana Marjanovic, Bill Milner and newcomer Eloise Laurence have signed to star in Broken.

The film is an adaptation for the screen by Mark O’Rowe from the novel by Daniel Clay, to be directed by Rufus Norris and is backed by BBC Films and the BFI Film Fund in association with Lip Sync and Bill Kenwright.

It is being produced by Dixie Linder, Nick Marston, Tally Garner and Kenwright and produced under the Cuba Pictures Production banner after being developed by BBC Films, the broadcaster’s standalone film unit.

Theater director Norris directs the tale of young North London girl who witnesses a violent attack which brings chaos to her life.

It begins shooting later this month in the U.K.
