Time Warner Adds Paul Wachter to Board
Investment advisor becomes entertainment giant's 13th director
NEW YORK - Time Warner said Thursday it has elected investment expert Paul Wachter to its board, bringing its size to 13 members.
Wachter, 54, is the founder and CEO of investment advisory services firm Main Street Advisors, which provides financial advice to high net worth individuals, including from the entertainment industry. He started his career as an entertainment industry investment banker at Bear Stearns.
"Paul brings a unique combination of abilities to the table, including his perspective as an investment advisor, background in investment banking and law, and experience in the entertainment industry," said chairman and CEO Jeff Bewkes.
