TMG picks up projects after EFM

Lands rights to 'The Ward,' 'Company You Keep'

COLOGNE, Germany -- Proving that reports of the death of presales have been greatly exaggerated, German minimajor Tele Munchen Group signed on to four high-profile projects coming out of last week's European Film Market.

TMG and distribution outlet Concorde picked up all German rights to political thriller "The Company You Keep" from and starring Robert Redford; John Carpenter's new horror title "The Ward" featuring Amber Heard; the sci-fi feature "Zero Theorem" from director Terry Gilliam and "Eleven Minutes," an adaptation of Paulo Coelho's best-seller directed by Hany Abu-Assad ("Paradise Now").

Concorde will handle the theatrical and DVD release of all titles in Germany, while TMG will take over all free and pay TV as well as VOD rights for the four films.
