TNT seeing stars for two drama pilots

Christina Moore, David Julian Hirsh among actors cast

Christina Moore and David Julian Hirsh are set to co-star in TNT's drama pilot "Time Heals," while Conor O'Farrell has been tapped as a lead on another TNT drama pilot, "Night and Day."

"Time Heals," penned by John Masius, centers on Nancy Hawthorne (Jada Pinkett Smith), a strong but caring director of nursing at Charlotte Mercy Hospital in North Carolina. She's a single mother who always puts the pain of others first.

On the Sony TV-produced pilot, Moore will play Candy, a night-shift nurse. Hirsh will play Ray, a bright, quick-witted nurse who has a crush on Candy.

Moore, repped by Gersh and Artistry, recurs on the CW's "90210." Hirsh, a Canadian best known for his title role on CTV's "Naked Josh," is repped by APA and manager Jo An Kincaid.

Written by Joel Surnow and Todd Robinson, "Night" is a fast-paced, gritty drama about the life of Dan Hollister (William Fichtner), an agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms who works for a special threat-intervention task force.

O'Farrell ("CSI: Crime Scene Investigation") will play Dan's boss, the agent in charge of the task force.

Surnow is producing "Night" through his company, which owns the international rights to the project with Canadian Muse Entertainment as a partner. German-based producer-distributor Tandem Communications said Monday that it also has come on board "Night."
