Tom Ford, Marc Platt to Get Honors at Hollywood Film Awards

Fashion designer-turned-director Tom Ford and producer Marc Platt will be honored at the upcoming Hollywood Film Awards.

Ford will receive the Hollywood Breakthrough Director Award for his latest movie, Nocturnal Animals, while Platt will be given the Hollywood Producer Award for his work on 2016 films like Girl on the Train and the upcoming features Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk and La La Land.

Kenneth Lonergan will also be honored at the ceremony with the Hollywood Screenwriter Award for his screenplay Manchester by the Sea.

James Corden will return as host for the 20th annual event.

As previously announced Eddie Murphy will be receiving the Hollywood Career Achievement Award at the Nov. 6 ceremony, which will take place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
