Dude Du Jour: Tom Hiddleston Pulled off 3 Prints at the Same Time
The Suit: A plaid navy Etro suit, styled with a sky blue pinstripe shirt, cognac Louboutin shoes and blue-and-white polka dot socks by Nice Laundry.
The Wearer: English heartthrob Tom Hiddleston.
The Event: The New York Times' panel, TimesTalks Presents: The Night Manager at the Directors Guild of America in New York City on Monday evening. The actor took the stage alongside Hugh Laurie to speak about their upcoming BBC program.
Why We Dig: With a little help from stylist Ilaria Urbinati, whose good-looking clientele also includes Rami Malek and Ben Affleck, Hiddleston is always looking sharp. The Englishman has never been one to shy away from a risky look, be it a bold color or quirky accessory, but the actor really upped the ante on Monday by breaking a cardinal fashion rule. The 35-year-old stepped out rocking not two, but three distinctive patterns — all at the same time. Plaid, pinstripes and polka dots, all in varying shades of blue, helped Hiddleston's peepers pop and made for a fun, unexpected look — style rules be damned.
