'Top Model' walking Oxygen's runway

Net picks up exclusive cable rerun rights

Oxygen has acquired exclusive cable rerun rights to "America's Next Top Model" from CBS Television Distribution.

The deal means that "Top Model" repeats will move from MTV Networks' MTV and VH1 starting in January. Oxygen has acquired rights to the full library of the reality competition series, including current and future cycles. The CW series is now in its 11th cycle and is in production on the 12th.

It's still to be determined when and how often "Top Model," hosted by Tyra Banks, will air on Oxygen, but the show is a good fit with the network's schedule: Oxygen also airs repeats of Banks' talk show "The Tyra Banks Show," and its original series include "The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency," starring the former "Top Model" judge.

"Top Model" is from 10 by 10 Entertainment and Bankable Prods. Banks is the creator and executive producer along with Ken Mok and Daniel Soiseth.
