Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin Commiserate Over Gay Husbands in Netflix Comedy 'Grace and Frankie' (Video)
The 'Nine to Five' actresses reunite for the Netflix comedy airing May 8.
Netflix is giving audiences a first look at Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin onscreen together for the first time in 35 years.
The first trailer for Grace and Frankie is out. In the comedy series, Fonda and Tomlin (who teamed up to take down their horrible boss in 1980's Nine to Five) play women finding solace in each other after their husbands drop a bombshell: They're gay and are ending their respective marriages to marry one another. Martin Sheen and Sam Waterston co-star as the husbands, and the trailer features the dinner scene where the two men come out to their wives.
The comedy was developed by Marta Kauffman (Friends) and Howard J. Morris (Home Improvement). It also features Brooklyn Decker, Ethan Embry, June Diane Raphael and Baron Vaughn.
Grace and Frankie will premiere on Netflix on May 8, with all 13 episodes being released simultaneously. Prepare to binge.
