Cameras will roll on Ricky, Julian and Bubbles' latest theatrical laugher next spring, allowing producers more time to get their financing and creative in place.

TORONTO – Trailer Park Boys’ John Paul Tremblay, Robb Wells and Mike Smith have delayed production on their third movie to spring 2013.

The Mike Clattenburg-directed film was initially to start production this month, but will now wait for the cameras to roll in March 2013.

"We were filming another feature film into October and we felt Trailer Park Boys would have suffered if we had rushed into it," Tremblay said Monday.

Trailer Park Productions and Topsail Productions are producing the third Trailer Park Boys feature film, to be released in Canada by Alliance Films.

“Having to reschedule was actually a blessing in disguise,” added producer Mike Volpe.

“The extra time allows us to get all our financing in place before shooting begins and gives all our creative departments more time to prepare,” he said.

The third installment of the Trailer Park Boys franchise will see the trio of stoners launch their own Internet TV network.

Ricky, Julian and Bubbles’ first full?length film Trailer Park Boys: The Movie hit theaters in 2007, and the follow-up Trailer Park Boys: Countdown to Liquor Day was released in 2009.
