The Joel McHale-hosted comedy, music and awards show is set for December in Los Angeles.

The Trevor Project is putting the pieces together for its annual “TrevorLIVE Los Angeles” benefit with a selection of honorees and a host.

HBO’s president of programming, Michael Lombardo will be feted as the Trevor Hero Honoree while the Walt Disney Company will be applauded as the Trevor 20/20 Visionary Honoree. Accepting on behalf of Disney will be chairman of Walt Disney International Andy Bird.

Hosted by Joel McHale, the event is set to take place at the Hollywood Palladium on Dec. 6. Trevor board member Adam Shankman will serve as special guest director.

“The Trevor Project believes in a future where all LGBTQ youth have a chance to succeed and have their dreams come true. We are proud to honor HBO’s president of programming, Michael Lombardo, and The Walt Disney Company, two longtime supporters and advocates who are paving the way for a brighter future for LGBTQ youth,” said Abbe Land, executive director and CEO of The Trevor Project.

In overseeing HBO and sibling network Cinemax’s original programming, Lombardo has been involved in LGBTQ-themed projects such as the series Looking, The Normal Heart, Game of Thrones, Girls and The Case Against 8.

Announcing the honorees, a Trevor press release praised the Walt Disney Company “for fostering safe and respectful environments for the LGBTQ community.” Meanwhile McHale, who recently hosted the ESPY Awards, has performed at TrevorLIVE in New York.
