Tribeca reveals shorts program

The Tribeca Film Festival unveiled its short film program Tuesday, including a short film series created by returning filmmaker Isabella Rossellini.

Actors Matthew Modine and Rider Strong went behind the cameras for two of the selections and "Babel" scribe Guillermo Arriaga wrote another one.

The 79 shorts made in 30 countries were selected from 2,497 submissions.

They will vie for $15,000 in prizes for Best Narrative Short, Best Documentary Short and the Student Visionary Award.
