Trio rounds out marketing side at CBS Films

Company aims to produce four to six movies a year

Filling out its marketing team, new production/distribution company CBS Films has found a trio of execs in Teri Boggess, Cherie Crane and Maggie Schmidt.

Their appointments were announced Wednesday by Debbie Miller, executive vp worldwide marketing, to whom they will report.

Boggess, named senior vp creative advertising content, comes to CBS Films from Warners domestic marketing, where she was vp promotional programming. Before that, she was manager of promotional programming at Fox.

Taking on the role of senior vp media and research, Crane previously served as president of Perspective Consulting, where she developed integrated marketing campaigns and oversaw research. She also has held the post of senior vp Sony Pictures Entertainment, overseeing that company's strategic planning and media division.

Schmidt will serve as senior vp publicity. She has handled publicity in various positions at Warners and Phoenix Pictures.

Established in 2007, CBS plans to produce four to six movies annually with budgets of up to $50 million per film.
