Robert Smigel's cigar-smoking puppet, sporting a Make America Great Again hat, walked the convention grounds and pestered the CNN anchors and Trump supporters alike in a Facebook Live video segment.

Stephen Colbert wasn't the only party crasher at the Republican National Convention this year. Robert Smigel's puppet persona,Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, was also on hand to harass Donald Trump supporters and crash the live sets of anchors reporting at the scene.

In a Facebook Live video filmed on the convention grounds, Triumph, wearing a Trump-endorsed Make America Great Again hat, wandered through the crowds before coming across Anderson Cooper on CNN's set.

"I don't think you know this, but I photobombed you," he told Cooper, who replied, "I also saw you were holding a sign that said, 'I don't care that Melania Trump stole my jokes.'"

Triumph exclaimed, "Oh, that was on MSNBC. Anderson Cooper watches MSNBC! It's okay everyone, he's just like the rest of us."

On the scene of a news segment with anchors Jake Tapper and Wolf Blitzer, Triumph mocked Tapper's RNC tweets and recalled meeting Blitzer for the first time: "I complimented him for having the integrity of keeping his porno name."

Smigel, speaking through the cigar-smoking puppet, also scanned attendees at the convention ("We've got white guys in cowboy hats") and grilled several Trump supporters with hard-hitting questions.

"Which minority would you want deported first? Mexicans or Trump supporters who finished middle school?" he asked one supporter. To others, he asked, "What do you guys think of the Black Lives Matter movement? Don't worry, there's not a black person for miles around here."

Triumph's next Election Special will premiere Aug. 10 on Hulu
