'True Blood,' '24,' 'Wives' add to casts

Valerie Cruz, Tim Guinee, Clifton Powell land roles

Valerie Cruz has landed a recurring role on HBO's vampire drama "True Blood," Tim Guinee is set for a recurring role on Fox's "24," and Clifton Powell will recur on Lifetime's "Army Wives."

On "True Blood," Cruz ("Dexter") will play Isabel, an elegant Hispanic vampire. She is repped by Artists and John Carrabino Management.

On "24," Guinee ("Iron Man") will play Ken Dellao, a news reporter with ties to First Daughter Olivia Taylor (Sprague Grayden). The actor, repped by Innovative and Larry Taube/Sue Leibman, also recently appeared in "Synecdoche, New York."

On "Army Wives," Powell ("Rush Hour") will play a psychologist who specializes in helping war veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress. He is repped by APA and manager Christopher Black.
