Trust, Nordisk pool efforts, names


COLOGNE, Germany -- Danish film sales outfits Nordisk and Trust Films have officially merged their international sales operations under a new brand, TrustNordisk.

The new name makes official the cooperation between the two Scandinavian sales groups, which began at the European Film Market in Berlin in February. It also comes after Nordisk picked up a 50% stake in Trust parent Zentropa.

The newly merged sales outfit, which will have its official debut at MIPTV (April 7-10), will be led by Trust CEO Rikke Ennis and Nordisk head of sales Susan Wendt.
