TruTV gets more 'Worked Up'

Orders second cycle of RDF's job-themed reality series

TruTV has picked up a second cycle of docu-reality series "All Worked Up" with an order for 13 new episodes to begin airing in the spring.

The RDF USA-produced show launched Oct. 19 with an initial order of six episodes. It tells the first-person stories of several people working jobs that get them yelled at, spit on and sometimes assaulted.

Several of the recurring character in the first six episodes: Ron and Amy Shirley, who run the Lizard Lick Towing and Recovery repossessing company in Wendell, N.C., and Bryan McElderry, a process server in New York, will be back for the second season.

"'All Worked Up' proved to be highly successful with our core audience of young adult viewers," said Marc Juris, TruTV's executive vp and general manager of truTV. "The combination of high-pressure situations and memorable people makes for truly great television."
