Turner in for Korea's 'Mix'

Show based on popular online role playing game

SEOUL -- Turner Broadcasting System's Cartoon Network has picked up Asian regional rights to "MixMaster 2," the second season of a Korean action adventure animation produced by Sunwoo Entertainment.

The deal, which covers 25 Asia-Pacific territories, is understood to be the first of its kind by a Korean animation producer with an international broadcaster.

The 42-part series about a boy with amnesia is based on the 2004 "MixMaster" massively multiplayer online role-playing game. The show will play out from next year, with Cartoon Network even screening the Korean premiere.
